Jackie Litscher is a Freelance Artist, licensed Hairstylist/Barber, Redken Educator and a sole proprietor currently renting a chair at Union Square salon in New York City. She has been a licensed professional working behind the chair for over 18 years and has been a Redken Educator for over 8 years. Jackie’s Redken certifications include: Color, Design, Balayage, and Finishing.

Born and raised in the Midwest; she spent the first part of her career behind the chair in Wisconsin before moving to New York. Living and working in the heart of fashion has undoubtedly given Jackie many great opportunities such as working at the Redken Exchange in NYC, various Redken shows including, the Redken Symposium, ISSE, America’s Midwest Beauty show, Premier Orlando, Premier Philadelphia, Lake Geneva shows and IBS along with being hand picked to work one on one with some of the top names in the industry including Sam Villa, Ruth Roche and Kris Sorbie. She has also worked various Fashion week shows in New York, Milan, and Paris with Guido Palau and his team.

Her love and passion for the industry is contagious and she prides herself in being a very well rounded stylist. Jackie has taught several in salon classes, and classes at the Redken Exchange in New York including: Haircutting/Design, Up-do’s, Braiding, Barbering, Balayage, and Product Knowledge and Business.

When she isn’t serving her clients, providing education at her salon, facilitating classes with Redken or working runway shows you can find her around the city working on editorial shoots. Her work can be found in various publications and marketing materials, including Redken.com, Salon Centric, Amazon, Modern Salon, Beauty Launchpad, American Salon and The Social Life magazine. 

You will love Jackie’s high energy and approachable personality. She loves teaching and her unique skill set and life journey enable her to relate to any stylist she encounters.
